Armada has links with organisations who provide funding for training to companies and individuals.
Training funding for companies
CITB
Training grants available to construction industry employers as part of the CITB’s Employer Network project.
Funding available: a 70% contribution towards the overall cost of the training.
Eligibility: Companies in the construction industry who are registered with the CITB.

SkillsBoost Worcestershire
Funding available: Claim back 50% of your company’s training costs. Maximum claim per business: £6,000. Maximum claim per employee: £1,500.
Eligibility: Businesses with employees resident in Worcestershire. The employees being funded must reside in Worcestershire.
Programme end date: 31st March 2025.

SkillsBoost is funded via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, distributed via all the District Councils in Worcestershire and delivered in partnership between Worcestershire Growth Hub and Worcestershire County Council.
South Yorkshire Skills Bank
Funding available: a contribution towards your company’s training costs of up to 70%. Successful applicants receive a Skills Deal indicating the contribution amount.
Funding is available for both scheduled course places and bespoke, tailored training.
Eligibility: Businesses operating in South Yorkshire for at least one year who are looking to train employees as part of their growth plans.

Training funding for individuals
Job seekers
If you’re unemployed and claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance, your Jobcentre may fund your training with Armada.
Ask your Jobcentre work coach whether this is possible. We can send you information about the training you feel would be beneficial, to show to your Jobcentre work coach.
Armada is registered with the DWP as a training provider to Jobseekers.
ReAct+
Training funding provided by the Welsh Government for those resident in Wales who have been made redundant.
Funding available: A grant of up to £1,500 to cover the costs of vocational training. Additional support is available to help cover the cost of travel, accommodation and childcare when you’re training.
Eligibility: You must be aged 20 or over, a resident in Wales, and be under formal notice of redundancy or made redundant in the last 6 months.

Seetec Pluss
Support to individuals to find work.
Funding available: Funding for training in specific skills, as part of an overall package designed to develop your skills and confidence, and introduce you to positive employers.
Eligibility: Anyone unemployed looking for work.
